ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose for this role is to respond to application related support requests to ensure a smooth operation of business-critical applications and reporting within the business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintenance and upgrade of applications as issues and/or bugs are identified and across application and reporting based IT projects and initiatives within the business.
  • Support the core business applications and reporting requirements – specifically around:·          ASP .net Core and React·         Power BI (Dax)

    ·         Microsoft SharePoint

    ·         Microsoft SQL.

    ·         Understanding of API queries (Post and Rest)

  • Assist with application updates/changes as requested and through ADCO’s change management procedures.

ABOUT YOU

  • 2-3 years of experience in an application development & support capacity
  • Strong focus around end-user support across a breadth of various Microsoft based applications
  • Maintenance and updates in the following applications: Microsoft SQL, Power BI (DAX), Power Apps, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint (MS Azure cloud-based applications)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure
  • Demonstrable experience in producing executive, and operational management reporting, visualisation, and analysis to enable the business to gain insights and drive action
  • Analysis across finance/construction platforms in BI and Data
  • Develop (and update) dashboards or reports using the various tools such as Power BI, Excel
  • Establish and maintain documentation (Inc. changes and updates.)
  • Capability to develop (and support) using SQL and SSRS toolsets
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
