The ideal candidate will deliver an efficient and professional ‘front line’ service for the state office. Your day-to-day duties will see you:

  • Answer, forward, and record (as necessary) all incoming communications.
  • Organise, prepare and record (as necessary) all outgoing communications such as mail and courier services.
  • Prepare and distribute staff contact and communications listings.
  • Maintain booking schedules for office meeting rooms and facilities.
  • In collaboration with other office support staff, ensure the office facilities are in proper working order, for example managing and maintaining office supplies, consumables and equipment, arranging ongoing office cleaning and maintenance and undertaking direct tasks.
  • Perform general administration duties as requested.
  • Undertake allocated training and further own professional development.
  • Identify trends, contribute to lessons learnt and continuous improvement of the business.
  • Act as an ambassador for ADCO in your professional undertakings.
  • Day-to-day management of this role may be delegated to an Executive Assistant


  • We are ideally looking for a mature-aged candidate, however all applications will be considered.
  • Previous construction experience beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication – written and verbal
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Word Suite
  • Have a proactive work nature with the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Polite and professional phone manner
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Outstanding organisational skills and a good multi-tasker
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the business
