ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will report to the Construction Manager, and will be responsible for the safe, coordinated and successful delivery of projects to achieve the project financial targets. The Project Manager is responsible for the operations and personnel on the project on which they are based, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with ADCO processes. General tasks will include:

  • Detailed planning of project delivery, including safety and quality plans, budget, and target programme.
  • Proactive management of client relationships to ensure ADCO’s reputation as Builder of Choice, including appropriate negotiation and communication.
  • Day to day management and coordination of the project team.
  • Reviewing, recommending and/or approving of formal project documents in line with the role’s limits of authority.
  • Producing accurate and transparent reporting of the commercial and contractual status of the project through monthly control reporting and any other means.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, and take appropriate and timely action.

ABOUT YOU

To be a successful candidate in this role, you will ideally have: 

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering successful construction projects in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office suite, Aconex and Jobpac or similar project administration software.
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills to respond appropriately to a range of project requirements
  • Able to communicate clearly with others while working autonomously
  • Valid drivers licence.
