Holiday Inn Express (HIEX) Mascot is a mid-priced hotel chain within the InterContinental Hotels Group family of brands.
The $55 million project spans nine levels (including one basement level) offering a total of 247 keys and 98 parking spaces available at basement, ground and first floor levels.
The surrounding area is heavily loaded with hotel and commercial buildings, due to proximity to Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Airport.
Construction included prefabricated façade and load-bearing structural panels (precast concrete) and bathroom pods, to accelerate program durations to meet the program timeline.
