Oran Park Leisure Centre

Currently under construction, the Oran Park Leisure Centre will be a significant addition to the Oran Park precinct. Incorporating aquatic, indoor sports, health and fitness areas, it will be a multipurpose community facility, offering a large variety of activities and services for all age groups.

A true anchor development for the area, it will include a 50-metre indoor Olympic swimming pool, learn to swim pool connected to a leisure pool, warm water pool, spa/sauna along with associated amenities, spectator seating and plant room spaces.

The facility will provide the community with a sports pavilion with 4 basketball courts adaptable to multiple sports, a gymnasium with multipurpose rooms, appraisal rooms, office and storerooms as well as a reception area, retail space, café, kitchen and activity meeting rooms, with an underground basement car park and external on-grade parking.

Oran Park Leisure Centre will be a place for social gathering, providing unification between the existing Library and Camden Council administration building, both of which ADCO successfully delivered.

The sustainability aim of the leisure centre being a public building is to implement measures to ensure all natural resources are utilised in the most optimised way to create a passive design providing maximum occupant comfort and quality to the users and members of the community.
