Parramatta Police Station

ADCO has delivered the highly anticipated Parramatta Police Station for NSW Police. The $36 million project was completed ahead of schedule, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

With 21 months to complete, our client was impressed with our collaborative and proactive approach throughout the construction process, delivering the project ahead of schedule despite unforeseen challenges is a testament to the collaborative effort of our people, trade partners and consultants.

ADCO successfully managed the demolition, temporary works and management of construction staging and logistics in the CBD environment to ensure minimal impacts on the surrounding users and community. Despite the complexities of a boundary-to-boundary build, our team rose to the occasion and delivered exceptional results.

The benchmark facility provides enhanced resources, and quality accommodation for its’ 200+ employees and improves the community member experience who visit the Station to provide information, seek services, or receive support.

The team assisted our client with completing the design during the extensive early works and maintaining services to the adjacent Parramatta Courthouse, which remained operational throughout the project.

We are also proud to report that 3% of the contract value, totalling $1 million, was allocated to Indigenous spend, furthering our commitment to social responsibility and economic inclusion. NSW Police Force is now looking forward to state-of-the-art facilities for its staff enabling them to undertake their role within the Parramatta Local Government Authority.

This project has bolstered ADCO’s Police, Justice and Defence credentials, paving the way for a substantial pipeline of future projects in NSW.
