Pimpama City Shopping Centre

Located in one of the fastest growing regions of Southeast Queensland, the Pimpama City Shopping Centre was a $50 million greenfield Design and Construct project over a site area of approximately 75,000m2. The Centre has over 16,500m2 of lettable floor space, including a 4000m2 Coles Supermarket, 1800m2 ALDI Foodstore, standalone medical centre, tavern and drive through fast food restaurants Hungry Jacks and KFC.

Adding to the complexity of the project the development required integration with the clients existing adjoining petrol station and retail precinct. There were also major civil and infrastructure works, involving the removal of overhead power lines and the construction of large stormwater bio basins to treat all surface water from the site and adjoining areas.

The shopping centre is bounded on three sides with over 850 on-grade carparking bays, with the majority of these incorporating sunshade structure protection.
