SOUTH MELBOURNE VERTICAL SCHOOL

ADCO was the Builder of Choice for the Victorian Schools Building Authority (VSBA) to deliver South Melbourne Primary School, the first vertical school for the Victorian Government. The $40 million,  state-of-the-art building was completed in just over 12 months.

The works involved a detailed excavation of the site and the construction of a new vertical school over six levels. The shared school and community facility caters for 525 students with an early learning centre, multi-purpose community rooms and indoor and outdoor multi-purpose sports courts.
