Wantirna Aged Care Facility

ADCO completed the $80 million Wantirna Aged Care Facility for the Victorian Government in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Providing 120 beds in single-room accommodation, the complete facility will focus on providing residents with privacy, dignity and independence, and will aim to maintain residents’ physical and mental with contemporary models of aged care, in addition to offering expansive views looking out to the Dandenong Ranges. A ‘pandemic mode’ ventilation system was also developed for this important facility.

ADCO’s project team has developed excellent relationships with both the VHBC, operator Eastern Health, and the design consultants, and worked collaboratively in order to overcome a number of design and commissioning challenges associated with the project.
