ADCO Named Builder for Redevelopment of Concord Oval

ADCO is excited to begin work on the Redevelopment of Concord Oval for the City of Canada Bay, west of Sydney’s CBD. The project will see construction of multi-use sport and recreation facilities, including two new multi-purpose buildings, carparking and heritage items. Sod Turn Kicks Off Construction on South Coast Aquatic Centre Build

Construction of Batemans Bay’s Aquatic, Arts and Leisure Centre has kicked off on the South Coast of NSW, after a site sod turn last Friday. Our NSW State Manager John Basilisco joined Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack, Bega MP Andrew Constance, Gilmore MP Fiona Phillips MP, Senator Hollie Hughes and Eurobodalla Mayor Liz Innes to celebrate the commencement of construction. Our Shellharbour Civic Centre project on NSW’s South Coast has been awarded another prestigious design award. Taking out the ‘Urban Design and Public Spaces’ category at Good Design Australia Awards, the jury commented: “The public domain creates a new meeting place in Shellharbour city centre giving the city centre an iconic heart that the community can be proud of. ADCO to Build $45 Million QLD Park ‘N’ Ride Facility

ADCO is pleased to be successfully awarded the tender to construct the $44.5 million Springfield Central station multi-storey park 'n' ride facility, in Brisbane’s south-west. Our Queensland State Manager Brad Eathorne was proud to join Member for Jordan Charis Mullen MP on site to turn the first sod, marking the beginning of construction. The Canopy Nominated for Sustainability Award

ADCO’s $85 million redevelopment of central Lane Cove in Sydney has been nominated in the Sustainability Awards for the ‘Urban & Landscape’ category. The aged Rosenthal Avenue car park became a new, meticulously landscaped green space, supported by 500 underground car parking spaces and a retail precinct. The space also offers a new amphitheatre, play equipment, seven restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating, BBQ facilities, amenities, extensive landscaping, a ‘green wall’ vertical garden and a footbridge providing pedestrian connectivity across Rosenthal Avenue. Last week our WA team recognised R U OK? Day by attending the MATES in Construction WA Sundowner, which was an excellent celebration of mental health awareness within the construction industry. We were delighted to receive the 2020 ‘MATES Leadership Award’ (Large Organisation) on the day. ADCO Selected to Build Darebin Multi-Sports Stadium

ADCO is delighted to commence building Darebin Multi-Sport Stadium (MSS) at John Cain Memorial Park in Melbourne’s inner suburbs. Designed by Brand Architects, Australia, the $22 million MSS in Thornbury will offer three indoor multi-purpose courts to accommodate a range of sports such as netball, basketball, badminton, volleyball and roller derby. The stadium will provide spectators 298 fixed seats and six universal access spaces.
