ADCO completes IKON Park Stage 1 works

ADCO is excited to have completed Stage 1 of the landmark $40 million redevelopment of IKON Park, which involves a major upgrade of Carlton Football Club’s existing home ground, as well as increasing facilities for AFL Women’s. Stage 1 of the 18-month construction project in Melbourne’s inner suburbs involved demolition, construction and fit out of a mezzanine floor with new administration areas, gymnasium and new AFL/AFLW Player amenities for the 2021 season. Further works will result in a high-performance training facility, match day competition amenities, improved and expanded education spaces, allied health services, and LED lighting in order to broadcast night games....

Construction on South Brisbane build-to-rent development soon to commence

ADCO to build reimagined Queanbeyan Civic & Cultural Precinct

ADCO is thrilled to be Builder of Choice for the design and construction of Queanbeyan Civic and Cultural Precinct, for client Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council in southern NSW. With the main intention of bringing together Council staff (currently housed in 11 buildings across the CBD), the development will realise the Council’s CBD Transformation Strategy. Newman Health Service coming together in Pilbara Region

ADCO’s Newman Health Service redevelopment for WA Country Health Service is taking shape in the state's Pilbara Region. Last year we were awarded the contract to build the $61.4 million hospital which is progressing well with 240 tonnes of structural steel now installed. Once complete, the much-anticipated facility will include 12 in-patient beds, six emergency department bays, two dental chairs and GP consultation spaces, in addition to dedicated rooms for outpatient consults, therapy, medical imaging and pathology. Smoking Ceremony marks Lakelands Station works commencement

Winjan Corporation provided a Welcome to Country, Wanna Stick and smoking ceremony at the Lakelands Station site to mark the start of ADCO’s early works, with our client METRONET and consultants. Queensland’s ADCO Community Day a major success

Last Monday, our Queensland team and numerous trade partners dedicated their time and resources to helping rejuvenate a handful of important community locations. ADCO Community Day saw many hands helping groups and organisations who provide vital community support, including Redford Special School, Samford Riding School for the Disabled, the Salvation Army’s Fairhaven Recovery Centre and their ‘Stillwaters’ Homelessness Service, and Agape Outreach for the homeless and needy. ADCO partners with Carlton FC in support of their Indigenous advocacy

ADCO is proud to support Carlton Football Club’s launch of their 2021 AFL Indigenous guernsey. Designed by Melbourne artist and proud Gunditjmara woman Laura Thompson, the guernsey was created in consultation with Carlton’s seven current Indigenous players. ADCO is gladly supporting Carlton’s Indigenous advocacy, education and awareness raising activities and are also undertaking the $45 million redevelopment of Carlton’s traditional home, IKON Park. Design renders for Lakelands Station unveiled by WA Premier

WA Premier Mark McGowan unveiled the first design images of Lakelands Station, for which ADCO has been named builder. Lakelands is Perth’s tenth METRONET project, located 7km north of Mandurah Station and 60km south of Perth, and will service the growing suburbs of Lakelands, Madora Bay, Meadow Springs and surrounds. The design includes a pedestrian overpass, platforms on either side of the rail line, toilets, cycling facilities, bus interchange, approximately 400-bay car park, pedestrian and cyclist-friendly pathways, and landscaping featuring native species.
