ADCO partners with Carlton FC in support of their Indigenous advocacy

ADCO is proud to support Carlton Football Club’s launch of their 2021 AFL Indigenous guernsey. Designed by Melbourne artist and proud Gunditjmara woman Laura Thompson, the guernsey was created in consultation with Carlton’s seven current Indigenous players. ADCO is gladly supporting Carlton’s Indigenous advocacy, education and awareness raising activities and are also undertaking the $45 million redevelopment of Carlton’s traditional home, IKON Park. The guernsey pays respect to the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Carlton Football Club is located, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. Design renders for Lakelands Station unveiled by WA Premier

WA Premier Mark McGowan unveiled the first design images of Lakelands Station, for which ADCO has been named builder. Lakelands is Perth’s tenth METRONET project, located 7km north of Mandurah Station and 60km south of Perth, and will service the growing suburbs of Lakelands, Madora Bay, Meadow Springs and surrounds. The design includes a pedestrian overpass, platforms on either side of the rail line, toilets, cycling facilities, bus interchange, approximately 400-bay car park, pedestrian and cyclist-friendly pathways, and landscaping featuring native species. ADCO is pleased to be selected as the Builder of Choice for the new Robina Town Centre Office Building project on the Gold Coast. The project for long-time client QIC will see the delivery of a single-stage commercial office building which includes base building, integrated fit out and the diversion of Edgewater Court. ADCO’s athletes are running, cycling, walking and swimming to raise important funds for the Property Industry Foundation! The architects behind La Trobe University’s $150 million Sports Park redevelopment in Bundoora have been nominated in the Victorian Architecture Awards 2021, in the ‘Sustainable Architecture’ category. We wish to congratulate WARREN AND MAHONEY on this achievement, with whom we worked closely to build Stage 2 of this visually stunning sports development. ADCO to build five new schools for VSBA

ADCO is pleased to be the builder for five of the new schools that the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is opening in 2022. We are currently building the five primary schools in Gisborne, Strathtulloh, Kalkallo, Deanside and Wollert. Each school will offer an administration building with library, art, food and science learning spaces, a performing arts and physical education building, two learning neighbourhoods, outdoor hardcourts, sports field, bike sheds and playground. Crane named at Liverpool Hospital car park development

We’ve named our crane at Liverpool Hospital’s multi-storey car park project in Sydney’s south-west. Recently, ADCO welcomed Member for Holsworthy Melanie Gibbons, project staff and members of the local Liverpool community to site for the Crane Naming Ceremony. Over 100 entries were received from local children and from these submissions, three were selected as finalists. The winning name of the crane was ‘Celsus’, with the young winner congratulated by Ms Gibbons and the project team, and winning a prize. Celsus is Latin for ‘tall’ or ‘lofty’ and is also very suitably the name of a great Ancient Roman medical writer....

ADCO goes 1 million hours without an LTI in Victoria

We are extremely proud of our Victorian team for achieving one year without a LTI (lost time injury), covering over 1 million hours worked on our projects. Last week, each of our projects celebrated this wonderful result with a doughnut day. ADCO and Bundanon Trust celebrated the topping out of the subterranean Art Museum, the centrepiece of Bundanon's new infrastructure. Bundanon is a national cultural organization located west of Nowra on South Coast of NSW. Nestled alongside the Shoalhaven River, Bundanon runs an international ‘Artist in Residence’ program.
