ADCO Announced as Builder for $55M Aquatic Centre in Sydney

ADCO is incredibly pleased to be Builder of Choice for Waves Aquatic Centre, in Sydney’s north-west suburb of Baulkham Hills. The Hills Shire Council yesterday announced that ADCO had been chosen to redevelop the much-loved community pool into an elite sporting facility, in a rigorous selection process. When finished late next year, $55 million aquatic centre will offer locals a FINA-approved 50-metre, 10-lane Olympic swimming pool, a 25-metre indoor learn-to-swim pool, a 20-metre warm water pool, gym and fitness centre, spa and sauna facilities, in addition to a new reception, retail facilities, off-street parking and clubhouse. Market Square Shopping Centre Project Enters the Home Stretch

ADCO’s $45 million retail development at Market Square Shopping Centre, Sunnybank, is coming to life in Brisbane. Last week, ADCO achieved Practical Completion of Stage 1, which gives a portion of tenants’ access to start fitting out their tenancies. Future separable portions will involve the expansion of a separate, existing building and further work to the main shopping centre building. ADCO is delighted to have been chosen as the Builder of Choice for Perfect Auto Body's Mercedes-Benz facility, Sydney. Building on our extensive experience in the commercial, industrial and manufacturing sectors, the $25 million project will see the construction of a state-of-the-art, four-storey Paint & Panel facility at nearly 10,000sqm. ADCO Selected to Build Another VSBA School Project

ADCO is pleased to have been selected by the Victorian School Building Authority to build the new campus for McKinnon Secondary College. When open for students in time for Term 1, 2022, the new campus in Bentleigh East will offer modern learning spaces over four levels, along with a gymnasium. The campus will be able to accommodate 650 students and a future second stage will provide facilities to further expand capacity to 1,100 students. Another Important Project Underway for Bond University

First built by ADCO in 2008, the Sustainable Development building holds a 6-star Green Star design rating, the first educational building in Australia to achieve this. ADCO has given 60 repurposed laptops to East Timorese students who are in need of technology to assist with their school education. They were received by Richard Larkin, coordinator of the Letefoho East Timor Support (LETS) laptop programme, which distributes computers to high school students in the district of Letefoho — a remote, high altitude region in the centre of Timor. ADCO is pleased to have been awarded the Design & Construct contract to redevelop the existing Caritas Christi Hospice in Kew, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, creating the Caritas Christi Hospice and St Vincent’s Care Services, Kew. With a completion date for May 2021, the redevelopment will include the construction of a new, 26-bed Palliative Care hospice and 122-room, 135-bed Residential Aged Care Facility, also incorporating a number of shared-use areas such as car parking, kitchen and loading facilities.
