ADCO to Head $45M Parmelia Hilton Refurb in Perth CBD
ADCO is excited to be working with WA property group Hawaiian on a $45 million refurbishment of Perth’s iconic Parmelia Hilton Perth. Upon completion, the finished hotel will include a contemporary frontage to the Mill Street entrance, an eye-catching expansion of the lobby, the refurbishment of guestrooms and bathrooms, the addition of an executive lounge and a connection to the neighbouring Brookfield Place precinct. Guestroom renovation will see new bathrooms, air-conditioning, flooring, furniture, and improved in-room technology. The number of rooms will increase from 284 to 309 rooms and suites. Striking New Bond Business School Refurbishment Opens to Students
ADCO recently finished the refurbishment of Bond University Business School's Level 2 facilities. Named the 'Business Commons', it now offers a modern, comfortable space which can accommodate 120 students across self-study areas, collaborative spaces and informal teaching areas. The Business Commons is the culmination of a vision for accessible student spaces across the entire Quadrangle. However, we are heartbroken to witness the bushfires that continue to devastate families, wildlife and large parts of the Australian landscape. ADCO to Build $90M QANTAS Group Flight Simulator Facility
ADCO is proud to have been selected as the builder to deliver Qantas Group's $90 million Group Flight Training Centre. The project will be one of the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere when complete at the end of 2021. The centre will be located just outside Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport close to Qantas’ Mascot headquarters. ADCO Selected as Builder of Choice for Port Hedland Airport Redevelopment
ADCO is pleased to be Builder of Choice on an important redevelopment of Port Hedland International Airport's terminal building. ADCO has entered an ECI arrangement with the Client, PHIA, to provide construction expertise on the $30m project, designed by architects Woods Bagot. The new terminal will be approximately 800sqm larger than the existing facility and will offer a modern and welcoming interior. Congratulations to our Cranbrook Care project team for bringing home a National MBA award at Uluru over the weekend! ADCO won the top spot in the category ‘National Lifestyle Housing for Seniors’. Sod Turn at Pimpama Sports Hub Marks Beginning of Construction
ADCO has commenced work at Pimpama Sports Hub. In a sod-turn ceremony yesterday, City of Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate, Deputy Mayor Donna Gates and ADCO board member Tom Hill broke ground, witnessed by Council staff, project team and community members. Due for completion in 2021, the sports precinct will offer an aquatic centre, netball and tennis courts, a multipurpose hall, café, health centre, community centre, function rooms and carparking. The aquatic centre will provide a 10-lane Olympic standard pool, an indoor 25-metre pool, learn-to-swim pool and an outdoor children’s pool. Yesterday, the grand opening of Super Retail Group’s stunning new offices took place at Strathpine in Brisbane’s north. Group MD and CEO of Super Retail Group Anthony Heraghty, Mayor Allan Sutherland of Moreton Bay Regional Council and David Schwartz, Managing Director of Primewest brought out the giant scissors and cut the ribbon, announcing the offices open. ADCO Cycle Victorian Country for Homeless Youth
Last Friday, 17 ADCO staff, clients, consultants and associates participated in the 2019 Property Industry Foundation Charity Ride in Victoria to raise money for youth homelessness. Starting and finishing at RACV Healesville, the course ran through beautiful country back roads. Heading into 2020, the program will see its largest cohort yet with 96 involved from organisations across the industry. The theme of the program was BALANCE.
