ADCO Reaches Topping Out of Victorian Aquatic Centre

ADCO was pleased to celebrate topping out at Caulfield Grammar School's new Aquatic and Wellbeing Centre, with an event attended by ADCO staff, our Client and key project representatives. The $25 million project will offer a 50m competition pool with boom, movable floor and diving boards, spectator seating, function rooms, amenities areas, new lifts and spin rooms. After many months of planning, ADCO finally completed the complex installation of the pool boom above the concourse. ADCO Staff Meet with the Future Leaders of Construction

Last Friday, our WA team met with students at Jolimont Primary School, Perth. Kylie Pasalich’s Year Two students were given three challenges which saw them learn how to read and understand project briefs, prepare design responses to the brief and build a prototype. The project brief involved understanding a client who collected toy cars and needed a garage with very particular specifications to store them safely. After, students were invited to nominate their buildings for the Jolimont Building Awards. ADCO staff and subbies have joined in the conversation about mental health, suicide and initiatives to assist colleagues who are struggling. ADCO warmly thanks MATES in Construction (MiC) educator Heather Drew for joining us at our Holiday Inn Express site at Mascot, and for sharing ways to discuss and address these important issues. State-of-the-Art Teaching Facility Completed in Frankston

ADCO has completed another high-quality build for Chisholm Institute, Frankston. We are pleased to report that project was delivered on time, to an exceptionally high standard. Our $60m redevelopment of the institute has resulted in one of the most innovative teaching facilities in Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula. ADCO's Victorian team began on site in late 2017, which now offers 15,000sqm of teaching and learning space across two buildings. Building A offers nursing, health and beauty, and an ELC training and teaching facility, all across four storeys. Highly Technical Hitatchi Facility Reaches Completion in Perth

ADCO has proudly achieved PC at Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia’s remanufacturing facility in Perth, after 12 months of construction. The $13 million project was undertaken at Hitachi's existing Forrestdale facility, and saw the establishment of a steel structure building with concrete tilt panel façade and external PT slabs. The warehouse, which will be used for the refurbishing of Hitachi equipment, was extensively fitted out with gantry cranes, hydraulic and oil reticulated lines, spray booths and wheel testing facilities. Team ADCO Cycles for Homeless Youth

ADCO’s athletic employees banded together to take part in the Queensland leg of the Tour de PIF, organised by the Property Industry Foundation (PIF). The ADCO team were proud achieve the best time on the KOM ‘King of the Mountain’ challenge, a gruelling 4km climb as part of the 75km ride. This year's cycling challenge raised over $45,000 for homeless youth. PIF has been gifted a parcel of land from the Queensland Government and hopes to construct units to be operated by Brisbane Youth Service (BYS), which will provide housing for three families and six individuals. ADCO Holds Topping Out Ceremony at Landmark Lane Cove Project

Last weekend ADCO celebrated the topping out of The Canopy in Lane Cove with our valued client Lane Cove Council. Our team took local community members and council staff for an exclusive site tour after concluding our topping out celebrations. Congratulations to ADCO Victoria who walked away with two Master Builders Association Awards on Friday night. Largest Ever ADCO Team Runs City2Surf

Yesterday, a record team of 30 runners from ADCO competed in Sydney’s City2Surf, with Max Holmes-Keane leading the way in an impressive 57 minute effort.
