ADCO Holds Topping Out Ceremony at Landmark Lane Cove Project
Last weekend ADCO celebrated the topping out of The Canopy in Lane Cove with our valued client Lane Cove Council. Our team took local community members and council staff for an exclusive site tour after concluding our topping out celebrations. The complex development is due for completion in mid-2020 and includes over 6000m2 of public space, including parks, green spaces, performance areas, amenities and BBQ facilities. Congratulations to ADCO Victoria who walked away with two Master Builders Association Awards on Friday night. Another QLD Shopping Centre Wins Prestigious Building Award
Another Master Builders award was picked up by ADCO in Queensland over the weekend. At the Sunshine Coast MBA Awards, our project Birtinya Shopping Centre took out the honours in the category ‘Commercial Buildings ($5-50 million)’. Congratulations to the team on a fantastic finish and the many hours poured into Birtinya, for our regular client Stockland.
Largest Ever ADCO Team Runs City2Surf
Yesterday, a record team of 30 runners from ADCO competed in Sydney’s City2Surf, with Max Holmes-Keane leading the way in an impressive 57 minute effort. The team celebrated at our favourite post-run venue, Hotel Ravesis for a congratulatory drink. Well done to everyone who took part in such a fantastic event.
Large GC Shopping Centre Project Wins MBA Award
ADCO came away with a well-earned win at the Gold Coast MBA awards on Saturday. Our Queensland team were winners in the ‘Retail over $55 Million’ category for the construction of Robina’s Central Malls project, a two-year project which completed the final part of our 10 years of expansion works for our client QIC. Construction extended the shopping centre by over 50,000m². ADCO Secures $65M Bennetts Green Retail Development Contract
ADCO has secured the contract to build a large mixed-use retail development in the Lake Macquarie region, 10 km south of Newcastle. Occupying a long strip of land along the Pacific Highway in Bennetts Green, the $65 million build for Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) will see three buildings and carpark set across approx. 80,000m2. The proposed tenancies include a bulky goods, sporting goods and crafts store, a family fast food restaurant and petrol station, operated by Bunnings, Spotlight and Anaconda. ADCO WA held the 2019 Subcontractor Sundowner last Thursday at the spectacular Optus Stadium. The evening was a fantastic opportunity to recognise and thank all the subcontractors and suppliers who continue to support the business as we grow into the future. ADCO Fighters Raise Over $40L for Beyond Blue
ADCO was proud to support NSW staff members Matthew Rouhani and John Gabriel who took part in Corporate Fighter’s Fight Night last week, raising thousands for charity and committing to a strict training regime.
