ADCO building $80m TAFE hub in Western Sydney
ADCO is excited to begin building the new $80 million Institute of Applied Technology for Construction (IATC) at TAFE NSW Kingswood – Nepean, in Sydney’s west.
Yesterday, ADCO’s Managing Director Neil Harding joined Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education Geoff Lee MP, Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney Stuart Ayres MP, and Member for Mulgoa Tanya Davies to turn the first sod on the new facility.
Once complete, the IATC will be a signature construction training hub aligned to industry. Set to open in 2023, the IATC will train up to 700 trades students each year.
“It’s an honour for us to be selected for the construction tender. We have built 35 TAFEs over the years and this is truly a stand-out. There is a real sense of excellence and this is a great step forward,” said Neil Harding.
We are delighted to be building this important facility for TAFE NSW, with which we are glad to have a strong working relationship, forged over multiple decades.
