ADCO commences Brisbane Airport Carpark Expansion Project
ADCO is thrilled to announce the commencement of the highly anticipated Domestic Terminal Car Park Expansion project at Brisbane Airport. To honor and respect the rich cultural heritage of the land on which this project unfolds, a Smoking Ceremony was undertaken by the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Turrbal People.
A Smoking Ceremony is a significant cultural practice that demonstrates respect to traditional customs and cleanses the area while promoting protection and well-being for all present.
This $65m carpark expansion involves the construction of a six-level structure (including ground level) which will seamlessly integrate into the existing P2 car park. It is designed to provide a substantial addition of 1,700 long-term car parking spaces for the airport, strategically addressing the escalating demand during peak travel periods, particularly holiday seasons.
At ADCO, we are committed to delivering excellence in every facet of this project, collaborating closely with our client, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Consultants and Trade Partners, to ensure the seamless execution of this significant expansion.
We look forward to delivery of our next milestone with completion expected in mid-2025.
