Sod Turning Marks Start of MPark Construction
Kicking off construction of the final phase of MPark Stage 1 for Stockland at Macquarie Park north-west of Sydney’s CBD, a sod turning ceremony was recently conducted on site.
Federal Member for Bennelong, Jerome Laxale MP; the Hon. Anoulack Chanthivong MP, NSW Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology; City of Ryde Mayor, Councillor Sarkis Yedelian OAM; City of Ryde CEO, Wayne Rylands; and Johnson & Johnson Managing Director, Sue Martin, joined Stockland at the milestone event.
This project will complete stage 1 with two commercial buildings at 15 and 17 Khartoum Road, being seven and six storeys respectively above three basement levels, retail amenity and a 2,500 square metre open park space. The project team have assisted Stockland in their relationship with the Dharug Working Group and provided an opportunity for ochre extraction during the excavation phase of the project.
ADCO is thrilled to be the Builder of Choice for this project, and we look forward to working with Stockland and our trade partners to successfully deliver this exciting project.
