ADCO to Build $22 Million Gallery and Artists’ Residence for Riversdale Masterplan

ADCO was named head contractor for Bundanon Trust’s Riversdale Masterplan – a striking, $22 million site redevelopment on the estate of one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, Arthur Boyd. The project will showcase Boyd’s art and create a haven for artists on the banks of the Shoalhaven River.

NSW Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services and Member for Kiama Hon Gareth Ward MP and Federal Member for Gilmore Hon Fiona Phillips MP announced ADCO as builder for the significant cultural project.

With a completion date planned for late 2021, construction will see a new, state-of-the-art subterranean gallery, auditorium, restaurant, education spaces and accommodation for 64 people. An eye-catching footbridge will complement the existing, architecturally acclaimed Boyd Education Centre. Earthworks, roadworks and parking facilities are taking shape now by JBG. Kerstin Thompson Architects are behind the design.

ADCO is honoured to be Builder of Choice on this landmark project for Bundanon Trust.
