Market Square Shopping Centre Project Enters the Home Stretch

ADCO’s $45 million retail development at Market Square Shopping Centre, Sunnybank, is coming to life in Brisbane.

Last week, ADCO achieved Practical Completion of Stage 1, which gives a portion of tenants’ access to start fitting out their tenancies. Future separable portions will involve the expansion of a separate, existing building and further work to the main shopping centre building.

The next notable milestone is reaching final Certification for Stage 1, due which is due at the end of May. This will allow tenants to open and commence trading.

The highly complex project has required ADCO to work in a live and operating shopping centre — throughout the project’s timeline, Market Square has not closed.

Overall project completion for the important community retail expansion will take place in July.
