Striking New Bond Business School Refurbishment Opens to Students
ADCO recently finished the refurbishment of Bond University Business School’s Level 2 facilities. Named the ‘Business Commons’, it now offers a modern, comfortable space which can accommodate 120 students across self-study areas, collaborative spaces and informal teaching areas.
The Business Commons is the culmination of a vision for accessible student spaces across the entire Quadrangle. The Grand Opening was attended by Bond Vice Chancellor Professor Tim Brailsford, Executive Dean of Bond Business School Professor Terry O’Neil, and ADCO Chairman Judy Brinsmead.
“We are very excited to see this new, beautifully designed space open. It is often said that one of the keys to success in all academic endeavours is ensuring that the space you work in reflects your mindset. I have no doubt that this clean-cut, unrestrictive space will allow students to be stimulated, promote creative thinking and exemplify hard work,” said Angus Jenkins, President of the Bond University Business Students’ Association in his opening speech.
ADCO was also pleased to work on this project with Brent Hardcastle, associate at Wilson Architects.
ADCO proudly maintains a close relationship with Bond University, having completed more than 20 other projects on campus since 2004.
