We’ve Launched Our Reconciliation Action Plan
This NAIDOC Week, ADCO is incredibly excited to launch our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
We have given much thought to how we want to advance reconciliation internally and in the communities in which we work and live, and have initiated a RAP Working Group. This will sustain momentum, build awareness and allow us to investigate opportunities to improve and increase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment.
Our contribution to reconciliation will ensure that we build respectful and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while exploring opportunities throughout all stages of procurement.
We also want to recognise and thank our Ambassador, Ryan James, a proud Bundjalung man and current ADCO Scholar, who continues to advise ADCO on the development of our RAP and further activities to promote reconciliation, and our Emblem Artist, Jason King, a proud Gumbaynggirr man and ADCO Group employee.
Find out more about our RAP on our Our Commitments page.
